  Without getting too specific, here's the sort of thing I wrote:
  
  Dear x,
  
  Thank you so much for celebrating at my bachelorette party with me last weekend. The penis tiara/fancy dinner/limo rental was really fun, too. It was awesome to spend time with all of my girlfriends; you guys have been a really important part of my life in the past and I know you will continue to be in the future as well.
  
  Mr. Seabury and I are both excited to celebrate with you again at our wedding, if not sooner.

  Mentioning words like generous, giving, appreciation, thank you, amazing time, lasting memories, and a funny anecdote from the night would probably work...
  
  Maybe I am missing what is giving you trouble. Thanking some one is not that tough if you really mean it. I mean, I get that you don't want to be crass and outright mention money, but there are plenty of ways not to do that.

  I just did these, and I made a point to pick out certain things I knew each BM did.  One picked out and booked the hotel, so I talked about how nice it was, one brought wine and champagne so I thanked her for that, one picked the restaurant, etc.
