Recommendations for Wedding Planner

My co-worker is a part time planner and had been helping me with my wedding. Due to some unfortunate circumstances, she will be moving in a month. Hence, I'm now searching for an excellent planner/coordinator.

I will say that I'm not the easiest person to work with so I also value hirirng a planner that can work with my "Type A" personality. So I need an excellent & personable planner.

Mine is Kelly from eventology weddings. I haven't really started working with her much since the wedding is in November and she starts the month before. From meeting with her and communications through email she seems very on top of things and very nice. Another person that I really liked was Sally from Monarch Weddings. She is super sweet and has a very good price. She also comes with very high praises.

I would also say Sally at Monarch. I've been working with her for months now and she is superb. The other thing is, Sally has also been able to deal with my mom. Love my mom but she is rather demanding and not always understanding. Sally has been able to handle her with tact and grace. I'm thankful to have Sally helping me on every front.

She truly has been so incredibly helpful for me and my mom.

Kelly from Eventology! She knows what she is talking about and has GREAT referrals for the services you will be needing for the wedding. She's a pleasure to work with and has lots of experience. Can't go wrong with her!!!

I looked at Kelly (Eventology) and she is great but I needed someone for more than a month before. More than "day of" was a little outside my budget at Eventology.

I too decided to go with Sally at Monarch. Her pricing was better and provided more than just a month before services. Her "day of" package started several months ago. I am not as organized so I needed more help than just 4 weeks before the wedding.
