Dayton help for a friend.

I have a friend who just got engaged and because of a family health issue wants to get married in the next month or two.  Any suggestions of vendors in Dayton would be appreciated.  This will be a smaller affair so places to have it would also be good.

Thanks!!!

I met with Sherwood Florists in Kettering and they were very affordable and great to talk to.

Loved Sherwood Florist. Jessie did the most amazing flowers for my wedding. What day is she getting married? If she get married on a Friday or Sunday she'll probably have more luck finding vendors.

Look into Nixon Photography and Hatfield Videography. Both were fabulous to work with.

Is your friend looking for a church or outside wedding?

    What vendors does she need?

Furst Florist and Oberer's are good florists.
Kohler's Catering, Elite catering, Creatif Catering, Little Miami are good caterers.
ele and The Cakery are some bakeries.

I also used Jessie at Sherwood Florist and my flowers turned out amazing. Super easy to work with, too.

My cake is from The Cake Movers in Englewood. Courtney is a home based baker with an amazing talent and great prices. Check them out.

We used Dan Edwards as our DJ. He was good, but a little pricier than some others.

Some outside venues could be Cox Arboretum, RiverScape, Carillon Park, Polen Farm, Beham's Grove.

Any hall or IUE/VFW place could serve as the reception venue.  Some of the outdoor facilities have indoor reception options as well.

Some DJs are Brian Harris Entertainment or Rob D'Agnostio.

I'm doing an outdoor ceremony/indoor reception at Carillon park.  Polen Farm or Cox arboretum would also be good.  Or, it it's going to be pretty small, she could do a park and have the reception at a restaurant.

Using Mark at the Flower Shoppe on Brown street for my florist.

    Elite for catering.

My cake will be from Angel's Food, Sue Tickel.  She works out of her home but has been doing it for like 20 yrs and her cakes are amazing!  I also liked Ele.

We are using Randall's Audio Video and Visual from Vandalia. Our wedding is in Troy in September. He does really good work and we have hired him/his wife to do our pictures and dj. The prices were great. you can email him at ravv@woh.rr.com.
