Bridal Salons Near Sewickley/Pittsburgh

My parents just moved to Sewickley. So we are going to get my wedding dress there. Any suggestions on bridal salons in the area would be great. I live in Ohio so we are going to try and get as many in on weekends as we can! But we dont know where to look so advice would be greatly appriciated!

If you check out the "Welcome to the Pittsburgh Board" post up to, there is a link to the recommended vendors site. There's a bunch of dress shops linked on there.

I don't know of any around Sewickley per se, but hopefully if someone does, they will chime in. At least the web site would get you started! GL!

i can't think of any bridal shops in the sewickley area-the main shopping area isn't very big. there is a david's bridal in robinson, CK Bridal in oakdale and 2 david's bridals in the north hills. you could also consider driving up to beaver, there are a few bridal shops up there.

Do you still live in Northeast Ohio?
We bought my daughter's wedding gown at Catan's in Strongsville, Ohio.  They have such a huge selection of gowns and designers!  It was  2 hour drive -- but totally worth it!  Staff was great and so was the price!

In the Pittsburgh area there is a bridal shop in Wexford.

There is a bridal salon called Jeannette Russell in Sewickley right on Beaver St. (the main street) I spent a lot of time in Sewickley growing up and know the area very well - Jeannette Russell is a great salon (got a prom dress there). All the dresses, however, are custom - so, from what I understand about their bridal selection - you go in and picK a bodice and a bottom and it is completely custom made for you - not sure of the pricing for the custom dresses though. I bought a sample wedding dress (although it DID NOT look like a wedding dress~ lol) for my senior prom from there so it was fairly inexpensive but had a great experience! The seamstress was phenomenal too! The dress I bought for prom was a sample size 10 and she took it down to a 0 for me and you couldn't tell one bit!!

    Couldn't find a website but here's their phone # (412) 741-7471

    GL!

I second Catan's. We went there to look for bridesmaid dresses because one of my BMs lives in Strongsville. The selection was great! I was kinda sad I couldn't go dress shopping there! My flowergirl got her dress there, and it sounds like they have been pretty helpful.. (not that a flowergirl dress is the same as a wedding dress, but...) GL!!! :)

Jennette Russel no longer exists, she does not make dresses here anymore or have a store front of any kind in sewickley. Just so you know.
