Bridal Town?

Has anyone ever gone to Bridal Town in Conshohocken, PA?  You know, the commericals of the obnoxious pink building?  Its sort of a drive but my sister and cousin really want to go there to look at dresses and I'm wondering if it's worth the $4 a gallon in gas?  You cant view any of the designers they carry online so I'm nervous of what to expect.

Of course, I'm not looking for dresses to buy just yet but I am shopping around to get an idea of budget and style.

i wouldn't drive all that way if u're not looking to buy...search around online & get a feel for what style u want for now. & check locally to try styles on. that way, when u do drive all the way for a store, u're prepared & have an idea of what will work

if you are looking for specific designers they list on their website, do not assume they actually still carry the designer...i'm glad i called before i drove there b/c they had recently stopped carrying the designer i was looking for and only had 3 sample dresses for sale and wouldn't order anything else...

If you go - ask for Jackie.  She was the best for me.  I didn't buy because the two dresses I liked were out of my price range - but it's a great deal.  Mine were around $700-$800 so that's probably reasonable for most people.  Don't tell them about any coupon.  You can only bring it in once.  If you fall in love with a dress, get the coupon and then have someone call and order it over the phone with the 50% coupon "sight unseen."  I wish I had known the coupon was a once or nothing kinda thing.  Most of their designers are Forever Bridals and Victoria's Bridal. Look them up online first and try them on a local shop, then go to Bridal town with the 50% coupon and get the one you want.  Also - they won't let you take pictures at Bridal Town but you can usually figure out the designer with a few crafty internet searches when you get home.  Good luck!  And Jackie was the best.  She even called after to check on me, without any pressure to buy.
