Workout Plan Help

I joined a gym finally!

I need help coming up with a good workout plan. I can't afford a trainer right now, but the gym offers a complementary training session when you sign up. I met with him today and got a great circuit training workout. We did exercises that worked arms, legs, and core at the same time, plus cardio. I want to continue doing stuff like this because it feels amazing afterwards. I will do a lot of what he showed me, but some of it you can't do alone, and I need more so I don't get bored. Does anyone have a good workout that works like this?

Re: Workout Plan Help

  • Try fitnessista.com.  She's got some great workouts.  Check out the summer and winter shape ups, especially for some awesome circuit type workouts.

the above link is to a great work out plan to help get you into shape...read the article and watch the movies that go along with it so you know how to do the exercises right (the actual work out plan is half way down the page). Good luck!
  • I second bodybuilding.com - I am doing Jamie Easons 12 week livefit program - there are a lot of different options on the site
  • Try bodybuilding.com (I hear people have great success with Jamie Eason's LiveFit Trainer) and Oxygen Magazine.

  • I would also try 'Muscle & Fitness Hers'. They have good workout plans, and explain the WHY behind it all.
