Photobooth

Hi everyone!  So we're thinking of doing a Photobooth at our wedding and have the favor be a frame for the strip of photos.  We're also going to use the frame as the seating cards. We're just going to print the name and table number on the frame and make it look super cute on nice paper.

The reason I'm posting...anyone have any good recommendations for Photobooth vendors?  It seems like there's quite a few in the area and I was just curious as to if anyone had great service at a good price from any in particular.  Thanks!

I used Atlantic Studio and they were fantastic!  They're out of Ocean City, but travel for a small fee.  We used the Retro Photobooth and loved it - it's not one of the hard-sided photo booths like in the mall.  It has curtains around the sides, so more people can fit in.  And it cost about half of what other photobooth companies in the area charged.

I just checked out the website and you're right, definitely cheaper than other places I've priced!  They don't have many reviews though, the websites I checked only had two and then there's yours too.  I emailed them though to get some more information.  I appreciate you passing the info along!

Also, did you get frames for your pictures?  If you did, did you get them through the company or did you order them from somewhere else?

You're welcome!  I got the review from a couple of knotties on the Baltimore board.  They were married quite a while ago, and I'm not sure if they still post, but you might try posting over there to ask for a review.

We didn't get the frames, but they gave us a few for free that they had left over from the wedding the day before ours.  They are just magnetic frames, but they're fairly nice.  We have a few of our strips hanging on our fridge right now.

We used Booth-O-Rama and I LOVED Them!  They were so great to work with!  I loved Daniel and he made everything so easy.  Everyone at my wedding LOVED the photobooth.  I can't say enough good things about Booth-O-Rama.  I also bought a lot of extras - CD of all pictures, double prints and the scrapbook.  I'm so happy I did!!

our friends used Party Booths (partybooths.com). i liked them because the booths were big, they used the wedding design/logo on the print, and it printed as a 4x7 to fit in a regular frame.

if we do a photobooth, we may go with our photographer's set up (which is more of a backdrop as opposed to an actual booth) but that just depends on budget.

An update: Having a photo booth at the party was a huge hit, everyone enjoyed it. We did not tell anyone ahead of time so it could be a surprise. I completely recommend having a photo booth.

I would not actually recommend the company we used, Onomonomedia – they didn’t follow through on all promised (there was supposed to be overhead projection that didn’t work) and didn’t display the most professionalism (contacting me three days beforehand to set up earlier when we’d specified our rental space period months earlier, ridiculously slow response time from their designer working on our scrapbook pages, so that it was being finalized the day before.) Plus my understanding is that they’re slightly more expensive.
