Pocket Invitation disaster, need help!

I had picked out these beutiful verticle pocket invitations from a local stationary shop about 6 months ago. they were perfect and fit out theme (feathers and succulents) to a T. I went to go order them last week and the place has decided to no longer order inviations (they carry box sets and print your owns only now).
i was getting a great deal ($150 for 55 - envelopes, pocket invite, 2 reception cards, 1 invite overlay, rsvp card and envelope and crystal accents)  and now i have no invitations and i'm 130 days away from my wedding. does anyone know a reasonable cost website for pocket invitations? i don't have the budget to go over $230 for the whole shebang!

please let me know if you have found anything in all your searchs!

  • Does that company have any of what you wanted left in stock? If not, try to find a local dealer of Envelopments products since it's sounds like you'd rather not go the DIY route. www.envelopments.com

If you do end up wanting to do these yourself, I've seen people mention www.cardsandpockets.com, but I've never seen the products myself.

    Good luck!
  • We're using cardsandpockets.com for our panel pockets and mats, and the quality is great.

You'll probably get recommendations for Vistaprint, but my experience with has been awful.  Every order of ours has been really poor quality and had to be re-shipped. We ended up only getting our inserts from VP and are getting the invitation part custom printed from Office Max, which ended up being far better quality.

  • I've used PrintPlace: http://www.printplace.com/printing/invitation-printing.aspx, they always aim for the highest quality on invitation, though I've heard some pretty good stuff on cardsandpockets also.
  • I am getting my pocket folds and envelopes from envelopemall.com and just making my own inserts from colored cardstock.  I think for 150 pocket folds and envelopes I am paying a little over $110 with shipping.  I ordered them yesterday morning and they are supposed to arrive later today or tomorrow.
  • I used exclusively weddings and paid $200 for 100 pocket invitations. I dont know what their turn around time is though... You can always try a local party store or staples/office max.

    Hope this helps! Good luck!Smile

  • We just ordered our pocket invites yesterday: http://www.invitationstyles.com/fiery-vines-pocket-wedding-invite-inps040-p-2229.html and we are quite happy.  You get your proofs super quick (got ours in <8 hours) with unlimited changes/edits until their officially printed. The price per invite includes the rsvp and envelopes! We couldn't find a pocket invite any more afforable then here.  We did alot of research before we chose an invitation site, and this site had very positive reviews.
