Okay, so I dont know if you ladies remember my last post, but I did promise an update.
1) I FINALLY got a chance to lay all my "cards" out on the table.
2) We made a sudden unplanned trip to Baltimore to meet his kids and family and then went to NYC to see my dad and my step-mom. The visit went very well for the both of us.
3) We went to a unit function and we talked to his chaplain openly about seeing couples counseling... even got to talk about our issues with him for a little while.
So far everything truly does seem like its all going to work out as long as we continue to take out time.
