Looking for good Houston location for engagement photos

My fiancée and I want to get our engagement photos done in the next few months. He lives in Houston and I live in Rosenberg, so any area in Greater Houston is fine. We like fountains, outdoors, not too artistic(no graffiti)...something that is pretty but will showcase us.

Any suggestions?

Thanks! Smile

Melinda

I took mine in Uptown Park.  You can take a look at my pics on my The Knot wedding site.

I see brides take them by Hermann Park all the time.

My fiancé and I recently did our engagement photos around the River Oaks/St. Thomas area (pics on my knot wedding website). We took some in and around The Black Labrador, Freed-Montrose Library, and the Menil Collection. The Black Lab is an English-style pub inside an old church and it is attached to the Library. Tall windows, brick, ivy, and a giant chess set. The Menil Collection is a group of buildings that house different art collection. It has grassy areas, big trees to climb in, and cool metal buildings. A lot of people go to Hermann Park. It's a safe bet for beautiful foundations and grassy spots. I’ve done a few graduation shoots for friends over there. We just wanted to shoot somewhere different.
