hi ladies, got quoted b/t $200 - $400 just for a hem line at bella sera (:

could anyone recommend a cheaper alternative, preferably north shore, south shore would be ok too. would like it if the seamstress can store my dress till my wedding day!

The best around is Chris O'Hare in Quincy. I don't have a phone number but I am sure another knottie does.

Ditto I'm using Fay-- for my hem, 5 point bustle, rehearsal dinner dres alterations, and neckline alteration, oh and a steam/press of the dress and veil it is coming to $175. Much more affordable!
