Question from a Houston Native

Ok, Katrina was 6 years ago. Is crime still up since then, or has it calmed down? Has anyone in Baton Rouge felt the need to make any kind of changes in their lives to increase their safety and security? I am just curious.

    YES, it seems like when you watch the news, there is a shooting. And they are happening OCCASIONALLY where they used to not happen.  So, there are a lot of responsible men and women I know who have changed the way they do things, and more of my friends have gotten big dogs, and shotguns.  Some have even gone as far as getting gun permits.
