Got My Save The Dates!

I still cant call them STDs because I think of a disease :) .  BUT, I got them in the mail yesterday, and I was so excited to get them out that I had to start addressing.  I think as long as I have them out around 7 months before that will be enough time.  I'm at 8 right now.....what do you guys think?  I changed the background to lavender, and made the man's clothes blue, but here they are! :)

    nice! yeah the acronym makes me giggle every time i see it :P

    i think 7 months out is great - i slacked and sent mine out at 5 months out

    I'm with you on the "STD" thing.  I love reading posts titled things like "I gave STDs to all my friends and family!"  or "My FI hates our STDs".

    LOL

    Yours are great!  I'd love to be one of your relatives and get that STD from you. XD

    and thanks for spelling out "Save the Date" -- I was beginning to think that I was the only one who noticed how horribly wrong the acronym "STD" was! Another one of my favorite acronyms is "BM" for bridesmaid.  "How many BMs will you have at your wedding?" <giggle />

    Congratulations! They look great!

    We just decided on our Save the Date. Matt wants to turn a photo from our engagement pictures (which we plan to do in May) into a postcard. We thought people could frame them and keep them. Our wedding is also in eight months but I wont send the STDs (yeah, I totally had to figure that one out when I first started reading wedding boards!) until the beginning of summer. We are only inviting 50 guests and most people know our date. I figure the invitations (which we already have done, kinda backwards right?) will be sent in August.

    You guys are just like me!!!  I still don't understand most of the posts on other boards, like FOBTHR and things like that!  I just don't understand why people dont spell things out.... Anyway, thanks for the comments on my STD's!  I hope the rest of you get STD's just like me. haha ok Im done :)
