  About 2 years and 7 months
  How long were you together before you got engaged?

  8 months. Our relationship moved quickly. We said we loved eachother 3 weeks in, because I was basically a superwoman when FI was setting up a local concert and things kept going wrong, we fixed everything and I made FI stay calm even though one of the bands were being drama queens, and that's when FI realized he loved me and I said it back. We moved in together by 4 months, and bought our first house together just before we were toegther 2 years.

  10 1/2 years! We are high school sweethearts. Living together for 3 years.

  Not engaged yet, but he's had the ring for 4 weeks now (we bought it together). So hopefully I'll be on here excited about that soon.

  We've talked about getting married in fall of 2012 which will put us right at 12 years!

   6 years now. Got together around this time in 2005. First date was June 18, 2005.

  How long were you together before you got enegaged? 4 months! FI said that he knew that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me and didn't want to wait any longer
  How long will you have been together when you get married? 2 years 5 months. Getting enegaged was the east part...planning a wedding is way harder then I would have thought!

  How long were you together before you got enegaged? He just proposed on Christmas of 2010, so 8.5 years before he proposed....EEEEK.

  1 year + 1 week: I told him when we started dating that we should know each other at least a year.  He took it quite literally and proposed ASAP.  The only reason he waited the week was for NYE.

  1 year, 1 week and four days

  
  How long were you together before you got engaged?

  16 days.  But we didn't announce it until we'd been together five months.  Most people don't know when we actually got engaged (our parents would have died if they knew)

  
  How long will you have been together when you get married?

  Our wedding day was 8 days before our 1 year anniversary, so...11 months, 2 weeks and 6 days?  Something like that.  357 days

  @alehayes, when you know, you know!  FI was ready to propose after 3 weeks and it onlyslightly freaked me out.  But we decided to wait a bit.
