Indoor, non-church Wedding Ceremony or Ceremony AND Reception site in NEO?

I am looking for an indoor, non-church venue to hold my wedding ceremony - or even better, a place to hold the ceremony and reception.  Any ideas?  Thank you for your hellp!

    Hi Julie,

There are a lot of venues in NEO that fit those criteria :) Can you give us a better idea of what you are looking for? Number of guests, location pref (east, west, south, downtown), type of feel that you are going for would all help!

We will have around 250 guests and most will probably be at the ceremony and reception.  Any location between Cleveland and Canton will do...most of our family members are located in Akron and are willing to drive.
    Thank you for your help!

We are also trying to do this on a budget, so most country clubs are out of the picture...unless they let us do just the wedding there.
    Thanks!

Don’t write off CC just yet – there are some pretty affordable options in CC  (as well as super high priced ones as well)  There are tons of options that accommodate <200 so for 250 guests I believe the following would work:
    Carrie Cerino’s
Happy Days visitor Center – CVNP
Lake Forrest CC - Hudson (may be too small but the various room options there would lend to separate areas for ceremony and reception)
    Lake Anna Hall – Barberton
    Natatorium - Cuy Falls
Roses Run CC in Stow – multiple rooms could be used to separate the ceremony and reception
U of Akron options  - Quaker Square Inn and Martin Univ. Center and Student union
    Guys Party center - Akron
    Buffalo Creek Retreat – medina
    Rustic Hills CC – Medina
    Quarry Golf Club  -Canton
    La Pizzeria – Canton
    Skyland Pines - Canton

try Springlake Party Center they are located in Springfield (South Akron) they are amazing!  You can have your wedding at the outdoor gazebo on the lake and then just walk into the reception hall.  Their prices are very reasonable.  If you definitely don't want an outdoor wedding they can do your ceremony in the hall.

I know their website is outdated but don't let that discourage you :-)

They book really far in advance though when is your wedding?

Michaud's Towne n' Country in in Strongsville is very budget friendly, has an outdoor courtyard for ceremonies and great rooms for weddngs of that size. Check them out.

also the Akron Museum of Art holds weddings in two of their lobbies. one is enormous and the other is much smaller. this was my second choice for venues (picked ours solely because it's in Ytown and closer to us in Pittsburgh).

St. George's Social Hall. It is a church, but you don't have to get married in the church. The hall holds up to 350 and you can get married in the hall, too.

We are having our reception there.
