Need your planning help for CO.

Hey Co Knotties,

We’re doing an article for the local CO Knot Magazine, and we want to hear your tips on the best places in your area. Basically, this is a chance where we get to give props to local vendors. So tell us: What’s the best place for a bachelorette party in your city, the greatest florist, cake baker, hairdresser (and why!), or even the coolest place for photos or a post-wedding brunch. You’re not limited to these things, but it’s just an idea to get you started.

Post below, and thanks in advance!

I'm actually getting married in IL, but if I was getting married here (where I live), I would 100% have my hair done by Rachel at Babooshka salon in Denver (she is down to earth and always does exactly what you ask for).

I would have either a pre-wedding party or the wedding itself at the Koenig Alumni house on CU's campus in Boulder.  It is gorgeous, historic and charming.  Photos on campus would be awesome as well (even if you didn't go to CU) because it is so pretty and the Flatirons serve as a perfect backdop.

The Boulder Teahouse would make for an awesome shower or post-wedding brunch location.  It, too, is historic and charming.

Edit:  I also forgot about Xpedx, which is the coolest paper store and saved my life a couple of times during this process.  The have a few locations in the Denver metro area, I think.

    Sparklers!

I am getting married at The Pinery in Black Forrest, just outside of Colo Spgs.  They are literally unbelievable and amazing!  Great prices, with all inclusive packages--whether you want to get married there, or somewehere else they do off site catering as well.  Even with their off site catering you get DJ, cake, linens, tables, tableware, etc...I have been nothing but completly satisfied wtih the entire process.  They have a ballroom, and a chapel, as well as an outside garden area with a pool where you can get married.  Can't wait for my wedding in Sept!
