self inking stamps

Ok, so here is another question, for the return address....I was thinking about getting a self inking adress stamp to stamp the back of my invites and also for the rsvp's....is this is something that is generally done and if so, where is the best place to purchase one?

Re: self inking stamps

  • Hey there,

I'm using a self inking stamp for my RSVPs. I'm ordered mine from etsy. I haven't received it yet but I can let you know my review when I get it in the mail.

It was around $35. The shop is called lovetocreatestamps

  • I got one for my invites. I love it! It is sooooo cute! I haven't used it on my invites yet but I have tested it out on other envelopes. I got mine from etsy, the seller was savethedate. I thought about using it for the RSVP but I wasn't sure if it was just too much since mine has a design on it. Haven't decided though.

  • thanks! I will look those up!
  • Did you get a stamp with just the address on it?  this may be a dumb question!

  • The stamp had my first name and FI only then the address below it. i also ordered mine in brown ink to match the ink on my invites
  • They also have them at Vistaprint - typically less than $35, especially if you have a "free rubber stamp" promotion (from one of their many promotional emails).  Definitely check out their website if you haven't yet.
  • I got my self inking stamp from Vistaprint for $1.  Black ink is free, but I ordered red ink.
  • I got mine with our first names and my parents addresss since the RSVP's was being sent to them
