Look ladies, when service members wear their uniform, it is NOT to play dress up. You cannot pick and choose the rules he follows. That uniform means a lot more than looking handsome at your wedding.
It's great that you all are excited to be military wives and excited to support your fiances. But being a military spouse is not about them being handsome in uniform, etc. It's about them loving their country enough to die for it, that's what that uniform represents. Respecting the rules and traditions associated with that uniform is respecting the rules and traditions of his branch of service. If he can't do that, he should wear civilian attire.
