Engraving?

If you got your FI's ring engraved, what did you put? I really want to do it but am unsure of what I want it to say.

I'm still on the fence about getting his engraved... though, with time ticking by, I should probably make a decision.

I was thinking about "Everything 3.24.2012"

The jeweler I take all my stuff to here says it would only be a couple days for them to do it, so I suppose I still have some time.

our song is Better Together by Jack Johnson, so I engraved We're Better Together

on his ring as a suprise :-)

I'm still on the fence as well. I'm not sure what or if to get his ring engraved. I'm so afraid that something gets spelled wrong or it won't be done in time. As for mine, my ring is white gold and when it gets redipped I'm not sure if it will just cover it up or not? Not sure how that works.

We went pretty simple with ours. Both have-

(His Initials) | 3-10-12 | (My initials)

We engraved our bands and stuck to simple as well. He has the date and my name and I have the same but with his name.

We didn't do any with ours. I thought about it for his but never did it. Mine really aren't wide enough to do anything with.

Ours came with "FAITH" already inscribed inside. We had thought about getting them engraved but couldn't think of anything we definitely wanted to put inside.

Plus if they get redipped it would disappear - my engagement ring had little ridges on the sides but has been redipped twice and the ridges are pretty much gone now. Though they did tell me when I got it back this last time that when it gets redipped again they can add the ridges back.

We put our 3 childrens names on the inside. we both have a child from previous relationship and we have 1 child together. So this is a physical token of our families becoming one and representing the vows and bond we are creating not only between us but as a family on our wedding day
