Looking for Places to Shop for Dresses

I live in Westchester County and am planning to shop with bridesmaids for dresses and bridal gowns. Where is the best area to go so I can hit the most shops in one day? Does anyone have any in the Westchester, Rockland or Conn. area?

    I haven't gone to look for dresses yet but I will soon. There are 2 David's Bridal locations in Rockland. One in Nanuet on route 59 and another just off of route 59 in the Spring Valley Marketplace. There is also Lavinia's on route 202 in Garnerville. And I know you didn't mention NJ, but if you're willing to travel down route 17 to Paramus, NJ there's Bijou Bridal which I've heard good things about. Also, in the palisades mall there's a store called Camille La Vie that has a small selection of wedding/bridesmaid dresses.

    Sorry I don't know too much about Westchester or Conn.

    Amelia's Bridal in Fleetwood/Mt Vernon
    Meme's in Larchmont
    and omg I forgot the name of the one in Bronxville.
    There is also a Davids Bridal on Central Ave in Yonkers.

    I bought my dress at Helen Bohn in Washington Township, NJ (very close to Rockland).  Bijou on 17 had a nice selection too.  Bonus to buying in NJ=no tax :)

    If you are looking to take  aday trip up towards Dutchess - there is A Special Occasion in Fishkill, and Mary Abdou, Town Shop and Brides Fantasy all in Poughkeepsie. Fishkill to Poughkeepsie will take about 25 minutes but its easy up route 9 and all the Poughkeepsie stores are really close to each other.

    And it's a scenic drive up route 9 or the Taconic if you aren't familiar with it!

    I only know of Julie Allen bridal in Newtown CT.  They are very nice there and a good selection.
