Husband (!!) and I were married on Sat., July 2, and it was AMAZING! I was a little concerned because it was so HOOOOT on Friday, but it cleared up for honestly perfect weather on Saturday. We were married in the Basilica in Minneapolis, and had the reception at the St. Paul Hotel. Besides a few late night wedding crashers (GRR!) which hubby disposed of (helps to be marrying into the law enforcement community) the whole day was awesome. However, it FLEW by, and I feel bad because I wasn't able to talk to everyone at the reception. The food and music were really good, and we even splurged on uplighting which made the ballroom even more cool. I can't wait to see photos and video, which we have to wait 4-6 weeks for now! Overall, it was awesome, and I had a lot of people tell me it was the best wedding they had ever been too, which makes me happy, because I put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into it!
