xspemt15x and other Camille la Vie brides

I remember you were concerned a while back and  thought you might like to know that I picked up my dress this Saturday from Camille la Vie.  It was perfect, and there were no issues. Rosa, the consultant, is wonderful to work with and Irene, the seamstress, did an amazing job. She did what she said she would, did it well, and she did it on time. They sewed in cups for me, made a French Bustle (Irene creates ties out of fabric for the bustle so no one has to struggle to see and match up hooks. They are quite sturdy), and I had the zipper back taken out an a corset back sewed in.  I was very worried about the corset back b/c it was a major alteration and when I was checking out another salon, the seamstress refused to do it, but it came out beautifully!

If anyone else had reservations about this store, you can weigh a positive experience into your decision making process.

The only thing that annoyed me- and not the store's fault, but you ladies may get a snicker out of it- is that some jack ass snuck into my fitting room to try on dresses while my dress was hanging up in there (and it was labeled with my name/date/time.) Seriously, would you ever go into a fitting room with what is obviously someone else's wedding dress there? Thankfully Rosa tossed her out and she didn't step on or wrinkle my dress.

Thanks so much for getting back to me, I just had my fitting and Irene has to fix almost all of the pick ups because the dress covers them... She was really friendly and continually reassured me not to worry "I will make it perfect" She is sweet and I cant wait until 9/8 to try it on again
