Attention DAYTON Brides!!!!

I thought I would start a thread for just us Dayton Brides. Post the locations for your ceremony and reception, and what vendors you have so far. This way, we can see who is going where, give recs on vendors we are using and need, and share tips and advice! :-)

Ceremony - Lutheran Church of Our Savior - Oakwood
Reception - Country Club of the North - Beavercreek
Photographer - Leclere Photography
DJ - Dan Edwards
Dress - European Bridal (Cincinnati)
Rings - James Free Jewelers

I think my next stop is flowers, cake, and BM dresses, so I am anxious to see who you are all using!

adfrasure - we are using Dan Edwards. I went to a wedding he did about a year ago and thought he did great. Very professional, kept things moving, and his pricing wasnt bad - about $900. He is the channel 2 morning news anchor too so your guests may recognize him :)

    Hi,

I would try Everlasting Sounds.  I used to work with Jodi - she was the assistant principal at my school.  They are very professional, fun, and have ALL kinds of different priced packages available.  I think their cheapest is something like $895.  They also do all kinds of different lighting for the dance floor, tables...  Lots of choices!

    Good luck!

All the Right Tunes and Absolute DJs are also affordable ones to consider.  With All the Right Tunes, you get 1 DJ and 1 emcee with the general package.

Any advice on places in Dayton to look for wedding dresses?  I've heard good things about Lillian's and thought I'd check out Alfred Angelo.  Any place else around I should check out?  Thanks!

Bridal N Tux off of 725 in Centerville. They also have a website via romanticgowns.com
They have fantastic prices and a huge selection of gowns! Don't go there though if you're expecting the sort of experience seen on Say Yes to the Dress on TLC. They'll help you when you're ready to try on gowns, but the selection process is entirely on the bride. Some may like that, some may not. But absolutely great deals on wedding gowns.

We are needing a church close to Troy OH so the reception can be at The Crystal Room.  Any suggestions?  Thanks
