Rented Flowers Center Pieces?

I just got a phone call from a vendor that proposed different options for me as far as center pieces go....she said to me " would you like to rent part of the centerpiece or incurr the cost completely for the centerpiece? I was thrown off guard with that question. So can anyone give me their thoughts on this? I need advice...

Thank you fellow knot girls!

i agree with the PP. Some vendors will rent the vases/containers used for the centerpieces. Just check with them regarding the pricing because a lot of times you can find it on your own for a lot less

It still may be worth a shot. My mom's flower shop rents out vases and large plants for events and you do get a discount. What they do is charge regular  price for the arrangements and when you return the vases, they give you a credit back for each one- I think 50-75% of the cost of the vase. They don't mark up the cost of the vase in the arrangement, it's sold at cost. The expensive part is the flowers and labor cost associated. So you may not get that much money back considering the overall cost.
