Thanks!  I did, I went to passion nail spa on Century - that place is awesome, very nice, and they had tons of pedicure chairs - perfect place to take a group (I'm thinking bridal party).

Anyway I love the manicure for the first 5 or so days, then the edges started to lift just slightly - which annoyed the crap out of me.  I'm one of those people that gets annoyed by little stuff like that, so when it would lift, I would peel it, and well my whole right hand looks pretty bad right now (most likely my fault for peeling), my left hand is still pretty good - but its only been a week and a half.  I dont think I'll be doing them on a regular basis - its too expensive, but for the wedding, I will definitely do it - mainly because I dont want fake nails, and I'm terrified that regular polish would chip before the ceremony.  Anyway - thanks for your help locating a salon!

Lindsay - I've had the axxium nails for the past month.  I agree that after your nails begin to grow out, the "edges" lift up and it's tempting to pick at them.  But I went back after about 2 weeks and them them redone.  The second go around seems to be working better.  My nails are much longer than usual and so far, no lifting.  My wedding is in 1 week (and 4 days) so I'm getting them touched up again next week just in time for the wedding.

They are a bit more expensive (I think I've been paying $30 each time) but I budgeted manicures into my budget in prep for the wedding.

SLAHSarah where have you been getting yours done?  I paid 40 - which I think is a bit much since I didnt make it to the 2 week mark and the manicurist told me it lasts up to 3 weeks.

Wow - as much as I loved Passion Nail Spa and how close it is to my house (I could walk if i really wanted to lol) - I may have to reconsider using them again.  Talk about pricey.  I just took the gel off yesterday - I think in the meantime I'll do the occasional regular manicure just to keep them up but I'll be holding off on the axxium again until the wedding.
