I used to really like this show. But now as I get deeper into planning my own wedding and know just how much of your heart and soul goes into planning you event, the more this is just disgusting me. Particularly, how quickly the other brides are to tear apart another woman's wedding. "The broccoli isn't salted the way I like it." "Her dress is just a bit too poofy for me." "It's raining! This is somehow all her fault." Now, these aren't direct quotes from the show, but it is exactly how the women are talking about eachother's weddings. I realize it's a competition, but they are often just mean and harsh. If any of my guests that I invited to my wedding criticized my wedding like that I would be very sad and hurt!
Do any of you ladies watch this show? What do you think? Maybe I am just too sensitive, but I really don't think I could say that I have ever been as mean and cold as some of these women are.
