I figured out the pearl napkin rings and... AW

went a little crazy.  We ended up setting up the whole table on our dining room table.  We don't have a gray table cloth like we will for the wedding, but these are gray place mats.  Here's the lamps that will be on half of the tables with a ring of hydrangea around the bottom.

  • That looks great! It will look even better with the hydrangea ring. What color hydrangeas? Oh...and the glasses go on the right hand side. Unless you're left handed and that's how you have always set tables. :D

  • Sharp: right side it is!  It's going to be white hydrangea with beach grasses woven through it.

Yes, I did make the napkin rings.  I ended up buying different color and size pearl beads and stringing them on jewelry wire.  It was pretty simple and I made 150 of them in two nights.

VJones: I thought about renting lamps, but I couldn't find ones I liked.  I couldn't afford to buy ones that were big enough, but I found these at Home Goods for $35 each.  To get enough for half of our tables, I had to call every Home Goods in New England and went to 4 different stores, but I got enough!  Now I have to add an LED light to the inside and wrap the electrical cord around the base.  The flowers will cover the cord.
