I don’t want anyone to be disappointed with the favors. I really love them and they serve double duty. I like that they are also the escort cards. What do you think?
ditto nhelene. I assume these are real mini-pumpkins, right? I'd probably think you had adorable escort cards, but I don't think I'd take it home as a favor.

Its very cute idea- I wouldnt be disapointed- but Like PP's I wouldnt really realize they are favors, but I wuold say they are REALLY adorable escort card ideas.
What does one do with the pumpkin? I don't see how its a favor. I mean its adorable for an escort card but I don't see how its a favor. Its not something they can eat (I don't think) and its not a trinket they can keep. I would definitly keep the candy bar idea.

First off: I like the pumpkins. They're cute, and you like them, so keep them. You're doing the candy, and I consider that a decent favor.
But the other reason I wouldn't take it home is that it's a vegetable and will eventually go bad.
ETA: If there's a bunch left over you've got thanksgiving decorations. And some of your other guests may grab more than one if they want to decorate with them. I really think they're cool as escort cards... just trying to explain why it's not the best idea for a favor
i didnt mean for my last post to sound rude i thank every one for there ideas, they were all very helpful. also they arnt the only "favor" i have a candy bar where people can pick all the candy they want with candy bags.

Depending on your artist ability I think it would be cute to put peoples first names or a design on the pumpkins itself. Martha Stewart has tons of super cute pumpkin painting ideas and it make make it more of a favor. Leave the information on the tag though, so you dont have table numbers painted on the mini pumpkin that way the guests can use it as an extra holiday decor.

However, they are an adorable escort card idea.

I agree, I wouldn't know if they were favors
Thanks ladies. I am glad that I also have a candy bar.

That's what I was going to say. I wouldn't be disappointed, but I don't think it's a favour.
