Ciaira -  I'm using Diana too! I think she's absolutely wonderful. She only is a big reason why we chose to have our wedding there. Everytime I call her, or even stop by unannounced, she always treats us like we are the most important people she knows! Amazing :) I'll have to let you know how it goes seeing how I'm about 3 weeks before you!

Sweetie~ That is AWESOME! LOL! It is amazing what you can find on these boards! If you don't mind me asking, who are some of your other vendors? We are using The Rose Garden for flowers, Let Them Eat Cake for obviously the cake, lol, and Joe Lorenzo from Expert Productions for the Steel Drummer, DJ, and videography. Our photographer came from the East Coast of Florida, Wes and Liz Weber of Wes Weber Photography.
I feel the same way about Diana! I feel like I ask a MILLION questions, but she is always just as sweet as she can be!

LOL, none of the same one's as you :) We are using Cakes by Carolynn who happens to work with our florist Delma's Flowers (we're having flowers on the cake). For photography we're using Kristen Wynn (amazing price!) and for the DJ, it's a guy who work with FI who gave him a fantastic price. I'm definitely a budget bride :)

OK great! I will take you up on that RIGHT NOW! LOL! Can you recommend any hotels that are around $100 a night but still fairly nice. Some of my guests will not be able to afford the GP, as much as I would LOVE them all to be there...sort of! LOL!

There is a Howard Johnson right down the street that we are listing as an option for our guests. I think it's like $140 a night. There is also a motel that we found down the road, I can't remember the name right now (I'm at work and I have it written down at home) but it's like 90-115 I believe, and it's pretty nice for being a motel. I'll get you the name when I get home and you can look it up. It's great because they have trolleys that go up and down the beach for like $1.25 or something, so your guest don't have to walk or drink and drive.

    Thank you so much! :)

Sweetie1184~Are the trolley's only for the motel that you found? Or just in general? Also, thank you again for the Howard Johnson! I think that will be a great option. I want to give one more option that is a little cheaper than that one and then maybe one that is along the lines of the Grand Plaza, maybe the Sirata?

The local trolleys run the length of the beaches (Clearwater to SPB), not owned by any of the resorts, I think the County is in charge of the transportation.  There is also a service called Free Beach Rides, they work on a tip-only base.  The locals here LOVE it! Cool

I am looking to have my wedding there as well! Does anybody know what their room minimums are in terms of people. I am looking to have around 50 maybe more?

@gbrajer-I believe that GP works off a $ per event not per person.  The presidential suite they have would be perfect for an under 75 person event. Cool
