NWR 1st Jilian Workout

Hey ladies
I just completed my 1st Jilian Workout on her 30 day shred DVD and ohmyGOSH I feel like JELLO! 20 mins and I was buffing and sweating like I just completed a marathon!!

eek My Puppy got under one of my jumping jacks and I stepped on her. Whoopsie she didn't get the new at home work out LoL No Harm done though.

anywho I feel better for working out so feel free to check in to back sure I am keeping up ahaha

    That video is so good, but TOTALLY hard! Keep up the good work. It gets easier after day 5.  If you make it to day 15 you are definitely in it for the long haul! Good Luck!

    It's a good workout, but Jillian gets REALLY old to me. She's so condescending! I used to imagine I was punching her during the fist punch section of level one. 

    Once you finish the Shred, if you're looking for more muscle definition, pick up a 10-15 pound kettlebell (Target sells them) and one of the Lauren Brooks kettlebell DVDs. Serious workout and seriously awesome.

    Beka : I hear ya on the annoying part I find myself zoning her out or telling her to shut up haha

    But I am loving the workout and I hope I can keep it up. My FI is good at reminding me LoL (Not in a bad way)

    TOTALLY agree Beka! Once I got the workout down and didn't need to listen to her instructions anymore, I muted the DVD and turned on music

    Oooo, the SHRED. Way to go, girl! I've done the shred a couple times and by the time you get to Level 3, Level 1 seems like a piece of cake ... not that it doesn't still wear you out, though!

    The first time I did it I couldn't sit or stand up normally for three days.  Good job!

    Oh, and my cat likes to lay underneath me while I'm doing push-ups.  It's great motivation.  Don't fall on the cat, don't fall on the cat...

    Finished BC and not preventing since June 2010.
    Actively trying for baby #1 since July 2011.
    SA completed 5/29/2012. No sperm found.
    11/12: Dx: Congenital Bilateral Absense of the Vas Deferens.
    Genetic Testing needed as this is a mutation of Cystic Fibrosis.
    IVF #1 with ICSI planned for 2013.
    PAIF/SAIF welcome!

    Your post motivated me to finally open and try my Shred DVD that's been sitting on the shelf for two weeks.  I almost quit after the 2nd round, but managed to eek it out.  Totally hard, and my arms feel all wobbly.  I'm just hoping that I'll 1. keep it up, and 2. see some results!
