XP-Addressing our Priest

Is there a special way to address our Priest on his invitations instead of Father __________?  I know I have read on here before, but I can't remember.  Thanks!

    I think "The Reverend Father John Doe" on the outer envelope, and then "Father John" or however you call him on the inner envelope but I'm not the most versed on etiquette.

    I think it's Reverend Father John Doe or the The Reverend Father John Doe, S.J. (use "the" if he's in an order, skip it if he's not). The inner envelope would be Father Doe, because you are supposed to use last names on the inners.

    I only had outers and the priest who is saying mass is in an order, so I'm not claiming expert status on this. At all.

    The Reverend John Doe, assuming his a "normal" priest, not with a special title/order/etc..  If he has a special title, I'd call your parish office and ask for the proper wording.

    Ours was Rev. Msgr., so yeah, what PPs said!
