Many of you may be home today but hopefully someone's working along with me!

I'm a little ticked.  They told us all last week that our meeting would start this morning at 8 AM.  It's on everything.  I get here at 7:40 AM and they start telling us, "Yeah, we're probably not going to start until about 8:15 AM."  I could have slept for a few extra minutes.  Boo.

    I would have off, but I'm working so I can use the floating holiday for time off around the wedding.

    I am right there with you Julie on the working thing, but I have never worked in a position that allowed me this day off so until your mentioned it I didnt even think about it :(.

    Julie, I'm in the same boat! I didn't know it was a holiday today!

    My B&M is that I'm an idiot who didn't proof read her website. So FFIL hands me print outs of our offical website with a bunch of red ink corrections! I was so embarassed.

    I'm so not in the mood to deal with patients today. Especially ones who can't speak English and give me an annoyed looked! That's another hot button topic I rather not go into.

    I want to know who cares about Paris Hilton anymore. I sure don't, and I definitely couldn't care less if her absyinth injected b-day cake was stolen. Boo hoo, I weep for you and your thousand dollar cake.

    I'm here.  At first I was burning up but I think they have finally turned the heater off and the ac on so it's starting to cool down.

    I'm 100% right there with you!!! I can't stand when they ask if I speak Spainish in perfect English and when I say no, they ask me whatever they want in Spanish.

    I also have to work today....boo! :( I also have to work all next weekend triple boo!!!

    I have a mountain of homework, FI is off work today (and I have class), and I have drill this weekend (not complaining about going to drill, just feel to busy to be gone for the weekend).

    For $1500 mine is doing prep as far as 2 months out. $1200 for the wkend? That is crazy indeed!!!

    It bothers me that when I asked everyone for their opinion about different aspects of my wedding all I got was, "it's your wedding. Do what you want."  And now that I have made all these decisions people suddenly have an opinion they have to share with me.  I gets to be overwhelming and now I am feeling like I am compromising a lot of things that I was already happy with.

    There was way too much drama around me this weekend. We were in DFW to do wedding stuff.  We got a lot accomplished, but I am worn out now! 

    I am also not working today, but I have two tests today. And I am doing my taxes today.  And more wedding stuff. Goodbye naptime.

    I hated coming in to work today while FI slept. I wanted to cuddle this morning, and playing catch up for the majority of today wasn't my cup of tea.

    FI did text me to let me know I have a clean house AND my favorite meal that he makes to come home to! I can't B&M too much.

    Oh, but I have a DOC who quoted me $1200 and now won't quit harrassing me. Not cool!

    I am home today, but sick. I've got a cold or flu, and have been feeling awful since Friday night.

    It would be nice if I was using this time to clean the house or address the huge pile of invitations I have sitting on the kitchen table. But I have zero energy.

    I was suppose to start my new job today. There was lack of communication on their part. It seemed like excuse after excuse. When I was finally able to talk to my supervisor, she informed me of my hourly wage. It wasn't any where near where I had originally discussed with the president of the company.

    This is how the original discussion went:

    Prez: What are you looking for in reference to compensation?
    Me: I'm really open on this topic. What is the range for this position?
    Prez: This position is an hourly position and the range is between $X0-$X0.

    I took it as I would be making between $X0-$X0 an hour. They meant I would be making $X0,000 to $X0,000 a year.

    I was shocked and totally caught off guard. I was already getting frustrated with how things were going anyway. So I figured it was all a sign so I turned it down.
