I just effing backed into someone.  She was pulling into a spot directly opposite me and wasn't all the way in yet.  I didn't even feel it happen!  The only reason I stopped was because she honked.  It's "just paint" off the bumper, but that'll probably run a few thousand.

    Of couse the damage is on hers not mine.  Seriously if someone walking by hadn't said I hit her too I would have thought she was crazy.  I'm still shocked I didn't feel or hear it.  I didn't even have the radio on.

    I'm so mad at myself.

    depending on the car, a full rear bumper replacement is something like $600, including parts, labor, and paint. (both of mine have been around that)

    i hope you have pics/police report if this is going to insurance companies.
