If you do Huggies points

Taw or Kat mentioned recently that you get double points for huggies purchased at Target through 12/31.

WELL, I've been hoarding my codes for about six months, maybe more. Mostly because it's sucha  PITA to type them in (stupid huggies site is so annoying compared to the pampers one!).  I finally entered them last night, and it asks you wehre you bought your huggies.  I really had no idea (I get them at target, walgreens, sams - wherever is on sale), but I entered Target for the first one.  And I got double points.

They don't have any idea where you *actually* bought your diapers.  I entered Target for every code and got double points to the tune of over 600 extra points!

Which felt awesome, until I went to *spend* the points and realized huggies has crappy partnerships.  All they have is "instant win games" and sweepstakes. You can only use your points to "buy" four things. Four things I don't need or want.

So I'll continue to hoard my points until they have a better partnership. But in the meantime YAY for extra points. :)

Yes, all you have to do is say you bought them at Target.  They don't actually know.

But the very last tab is where they have the physical stuff to buy.  Just keep patient, DG.  They update their rewards catalog periodically and you can get some good stuff.  I always hold out for the free diapers coupons.  I've seen everything from music downloads, to free coupons, to toys for your kid.  They change it all the time.  The last time I checked they only had two things in their catalog and they blew.  I'm waiting for them to update again.

    How do the points work?

when you buy a pack of diapers or wipes, there is a sticker with a code on it. You enter the code in the site (enjoytheriderewards.com), and you get points for it. (wipe tub = 3 points, giant diaper pack = 20 points. There are a lot of things in between, too.)

Occasionally there are bonus codes and things, or you can get a few points for watching videos or taking polls on the site.

You then spend your points on various things - entries into a random drawing, a chance to play an instant win game, etc.  You can also spend your points on stuff, but right now it's not very good stuff.

Pampers has a similar program ("gifts to grow") that tends to have much better rewards/partners.  I finally created an account there because I will occasionally have a pampers product, and they also do lots of freebie points.  But I am not a fan of the actual diapers, so I don't get too many of the points.

I recently switched to target diapers, but I am headed back to huggies now that I am doing Amazon Mom - free shipping and an extra 15% off, plus another 15% off if you "subscribe" to have diapers and wipes delivered regularly.

Thanks! I did sign up for the amazon moms.  I'll have to keep track of the points when I decide what diapers we're using.
