Dreams (Nightmares)

Is anyone else having constant dreams - sometimes nightmares? I think all my dreams last night had to do with invitations. So I woke up at 7 and started searching for more invitation ideas..
I was at a party last night and a girl there asked me if I was using the community lilnk on theknot. I hadn't been so told me all about it. I'm so excited to have people to talk to that are going through the same issues :) before I drive my amazing MOH insane ;)

Re: Dreams (Nightmares)

  • I don't have nightmares, but I have been losing sleep. I try to visualize exactly what I want in the coming days as I'm falling to sleep, hoping it will help. :)
  • I have nightmares at least twice per month. This week I dreamt that it was the night before the wedding and I didn't finish the bouquets yet (I'm making them from crystals and pearls).  I've been stressing lately about not having time to work on them (I work two jobs and go to school), and now I'm dreaming I won't finish them!

I dream about the wedding often but I very rarely have a good dream- it's almost always a nightmare! yikes!

  • I haven't had many dreams, but I have noticed that I think about the wedding a lot when I can't fall asleep. (It usually takes me at least an hour to fall asleep.) I have thought of some great ideas though! I figured out how I want to do my BM jewelry and a few other things. :P

  • I think in the (almost) year I've been engaged that I've had 2 wedding dreams. I don't remember them, but one was bad and one was good. I have a REALLY hard time falling asleep sometimes because I am thinking about all of the things that I have to get done. Sometimes I don't fall asleep for 4 or 5 hours after I get in bed. That's my biggest issue...losing sleep. Glad you finally found out about us, on here! =)

  • I haven't had too many wedding related dreams.  I do however dream every night and in the morning can recall most of my dreams.  My problem sleeping though is staying asleep.  I have insomnia so I take melatonin every now and then but I've been taking mostly quick release so I can fall asleep quickly; I think I need to change to slow release.

I have had several wedding nightmares! I don't think I have had one pleasant wedding dream, something always goes wrong. I'm not sure if it's stress or if it is my subconscious trying to inoculate me against day-of stress when things don't go as planned.
