Does anyone have any recommendations for a wedding planner/coordinator in the GTA that won't break the bank?  Has anyone used Happily Ever After Event Co? Any reviews on them?

    I too have narrowed down my search for a DOC to Happily Ever After Event Co or Simply Sophisticated.  I would also greatly appreciate any reviews that anyone has on either company.

    Hi SNTJ2012,

    Someone else recommended Happily Ever After Event Co, but I tried to do a search on them and came up with nothing except a listing on Kijiji which states they`re a new company. Their prices are really cheap but I`m a little bit wary.  Have you met with them?

    Yep. I met with them and they seem really nice.  They are young and energetic which I like and they gave me the impression that they could do the job.  They do not have a website yet, only a kijiji post and they have just recently registered the business.   I really liked their personalities though...and they shared with me pics of their work (which look good to me).  I will need them to coordinate the ceremony and the reception and they quoted me the best price (this I'm sure has much to do with the fact that they are just starting out).  Simply Sophisticated on the hand quoted me about $250 more, but seem to have more experience...Great girls also...

    I'm not sure what sort of pricing you're looking at, but I won a wedding planner in a contest in March.  His information is here: http://www.weddingsido.ca/Services-Available.html, and I like him.  Obviously I haven't had the wedding yet, but so far, so good.

    I am meeting Happily Ever After Event Co. tomorrow night, my bestfriend Catherine used them and she referred me. I can let you know the details :)

    Hi Jewel224,

    Just wanted to fill you in on the meeting I had with Happily Ever After Event Co. tonite. It went great, I signed a contract tonight for consultations and day of coordination at a great price. I really enjoyed there personalities and we clicked right away. They are both young and modern, had great references, experience and genuinely seemed passionate about there work. It is definetly worth giving them a try :)
