The RSVPs cometh!

First three were in the mailbox today...a total of SIX yeses, all of them FI's guests! But I've been hearing from my family over Facebook that they've been receiving the invites, so hopefully we'll start getting cards from them soon! This wedding is REALLY starting to feel real!!

This post has no point, just wanted to share my squee.

It's so much fun to see those little envelopes in the mail. In the midst of bills and flyers, we find these little navy blue beacons of light.

Squee!!! I have to be honest, the title of this thread made me LOL. Good job!

FI and I feel like its a competition on who gets responses the fastest. Yesterday I had 4 of my guests reply yes therefore I felt superior

**Edit** Pocky - I also LOVE your engagement ring. I just got a band that doesn't fit with my engagement ring so we are thinking of upgrading it. I've been looking at some just like yours!

My FI's been so cute, he knows I really look forward to getting the RSVP's in the mail, so even if he gets home first he doesn't check the mailbox so I can! I love it

I LOLed at "navy blue beacons of light"...it's so true! It's so much fun to get real mail, FUN mail, not just spam about getting new credit cards or changing car insurance. Mine are little ivory and purple beacons of light, but they're beacons all the same. :)

Thank you! I am still madly in love with my engagement ring. FI picked it out all by himself (with a few well-placed hints from my mother) and it is the most perfect ring for me that I could have ever asked for. The straight band doesn't fit next to it perfectly because there are some dips in the e-ring where the lines of diamonds cross, but it's close enough.
