My WTF is about a friend, we will call him M. His GF just broke up with him. He told her that he was uncomfortable with the amount of texts that she was getting from this other guy, (that told her he had feelings for her) so she broke up with M. This was at 4 in the morning yesterday. Right after she posted a quote on FB about sometimes you have to die a little to continue to grow and the other guy liked it right away.....So M was over last night telling us all of this including that he read some of her old text messages from the other guy and that they very flirtatious. Then he said that he wants to get back with this girl who is basically cheating on him!!! I don't understand!! (There are other issues in this relationship too.)
There are way too many WTF's in that paragraph for me!!
Jenn - I agree with Britt...you boss can't appologize if she did nothing wrong, now can she? (That was in sarcastic font if you couldn't tell)

Both FI and I told him this but he still wants to be with her. They have been together just less than 2 yrs and has only know this new guy friend for about 2 months. She has also been quite flirtatious with the new "friend" and has been very sneeky. I think that she likes all of the new attention she's getting now. I wish he would just realize that he needs to move on.
My WTF has to do with my job... Before I took the week before the holidays off I was super super busy and everyone was stressing to get things done before the end of the year. Some things got postponed until this week so I was expecting to be busy and so far I am waiting for people to get off their A*ses and get back to me. So right now I am basically sitting at my desk acting busy when I'm not and the day is going by so slowly.
It is tough enough that I really dislike my job but to have to sit here with nothing to do is even worse especially when everyone else is super busy. To top it off, my boss has decided we have to submit weekly reports of everything we work on (basically to micromanage) and the head of the dept is making us track all of our time to different projects and categories and all of this is in addition to the weekly timesheets we have to submit.
It sucks....I so want a change careerwise...!

Well, everything we were scared that she would do, she is doing. On D's brother's page. She posting all over it how she loves him, making comments on all his posts, posting her own posts, posting pictures of him and D saying they are her "boys", etc, etc. You'd think they were 5 years old, not grown men. D read it and said, "This is so gross. What is wrong with her?"

Mine is super petty but I just don’t get why workout clothes have to be so expensive!! I have no pants to run in so I went looking around for some today. $60 for a pair of running spandex?! Are you serious! I decided to check out Old Navy’s stuff because I heard good things and they have running pants for HALF the price. So hopefully they are good quality and don’t fall apart after a few runs…

Not anymore. They broke up and one of the main reasons was the mom. She got tired of feeling like she was always having to compete with his mom.
Kimmy - That really sucks about your FMIL. My FMIL was similar to this (but not nearly as bad). My FI had to say something to her after we had been dating about 6 months and she has butted out BIG time (5 years later we are very close). Sounds like yours does not listen though

WTF is with some of the other boards on TK ? I feel so bad for people who post on there seeking advice. As soon as they post they get attacked by what appears to be bulldogs. Maybe they have the Doug Disease ???

My WTF is FI's friends. A few years back J and R dated, he met someone else, broke up with R to go out with the new girl. Ended up getting engaged and then cheated on so went back to R. Now they have been dating for about four years and last month J "breaks up" with R. (He's "tried" in the past and she'll flat out say no and pretend that nothings changed and he goes along with it) J ends up going after another girl until this one tells him she's not interested and now he and R are back together. They are miserable together and act immature but its comfortable, aka annoying! And I want to say to her, WTF where were you this past month and how many times does he have to ditch you for another girl before you wake up, ugh.
