I love wordpress. You have a lot more flexibility, if you're comfortable with editing stuff.

If you've never done a blog before, google/Blogger is a lot easier as a first-time blogger.

Steph is right on the money. If you are new, go google/blogger. It's hard to mess up.

Blogger/Google - wordpress allows for WAY more customization, but you need to know some html - and I just don't know that stuff. I like blogger - it's good for simple lil me.
