Hi Ladies,

Im from Texas & would like to plan an intimate wedding ceremony & reception for about 12 people. Im open to different areas, hotels, estates, maybe restaurants. We would like something overlooking or on the water. Price is really flexible.

    Hey, I'm from Dallas too but living in LA now!  

    For estates, check out Rancho Sol Del Pacifico.  It's in Malibu, and I think they usually have larger weddings, but maybe you can work out something with them.  The view is gorgeous.  If you are interested in a beach wedding, El Matador state beach in Malibu is great too, but getting down to the beach from the parking lot involves a lot of stairs, so that's something to consider if you have older guests.  

    In Santa Monica, there's several hotels overlooking the ocean, including Loews, The Huntley, and Shangri La.  These places are probably pricey, but depending on how flexible your budget is they're worth looking into!

    Love the locations pp's suggested...also try Ritz Carlton, Marina Del Rey and also Hornblower Cruises.

    Il Cielo is one place I would check out.  After your reception/dinner, they have an accordian player and waiters with candles escort you back to your room for the night ;-)
