Minors for Bachelorette Partying..

My two cousins who might as well just be my siblings are going to be two of my bridesmaids. My wedding isnt until 2014 (graduating college may 2014) but one will only be 18 by that March and the other wont turn 21 until the day before my wedding. What are some fun bachelorette part ideas that I can still do that doesnt involve drinking or strip clubs? Someone told me that another small get together involving those things with the other bridesmaids would be an option but I think that would hurt the other two girls feelings. Has anyone else had any experience with family members that were minors?

  • What about a spa day?   You can DIY or make a trip to one.

You could go to a restaurant/bar type place a la Old Chicago so that those who are old enough to drink, can, but the underage cousins can still get into the establishment and hang out while not drinking.

I've also been to a b-party at someone's home that was a lot of fun. You could order pizza or something in, have some junk food, watch some movies, spend the night there or go home, etc. It was low-key but was still a great time.

  • One of my bridesmaids will be 14 for my wedding and another bridesmaid and I don't drink, so we aren't doing any sort of bars or clubs. We will likely be doing a cooking class or possibly a group dance class to learn some new skills and have some fun.

  • game night? Apples to Apples is really fun with a bunch of people, and you can still do silly bachelorette related games...like those scavenger hunt ones with pictures and stuff if you plan on going out, even to dinner/dessert

  • My MOH isn't 21, so for my bachelorette party we went to a waterpark.  Then, we went out for dinner, and then went to some bar/grill type places so the older girls could have a few drinks and my MOH could still feel comfortable.  We stayed overnight at the hotel with the waterpark and had brunch the next day.
  • The waterpark idea sounds like a lot of fun! My sister is a BM and will only be 18. I'm not really sure what my MOH is planning but probably a movie night or something at her house. I am thinking of having just a general 'pre wedding party/get together' at a Main Event or something because our wedding party is tiny. 2 attendants each. That way we could all hang out and have fun in addition to the bach parties. Fun stuff that everyone can do and those that are old enough & want to drink can.

  • My SIL did her bachelorette party at Applebee's, complete with a panty tree!!  We had a blast and the girls who weren't old enough to drink still had fun.

I think I might end up doing something similar because my sisters (who are BMs) are only going to be 18.

Kareoke! I know at least here in Chicago there's a few restaurants that do kareoke, not just bars, so under 21 can join too.
