10/20 Brides - when are you mailing your invites?

I am seeing brides mail them out now, then I see other Brides waiting until the 2 month mark.

When do you plan on mailing yours?

I am a 10/20 bride, and I will be sending mine out the first of August. It will be 2 months for them to RSVP by October 1st.

I'm 10/19 and I'm dropping them in the mail on 8/22. Guests will have ~6 weeks to RSVP.

I mailed mine out at about 13 weeks out. I didn't send STDs (not common in my area) so we usually mail them earlier then.

I'm 10/19 and I mailed mine out a few days ago (3 month mark). We have a lot of out of town guests and I'm very DIY so I'd like to have a good count early on to have plenty of time to finish things up.

I'm a 10/20 bride and I'm thinking I'll probably mail them about the 2nd week of August or so. I have one out already but it was going to Belgium so I sent it early. I really need to send these out!

i'm 10/20 bride too hopefully my invites will be ready to pick up this week. Then I have to put them together! I'm hoping they are out the 2nd week in august as well... RSVP date is 9/20

Oct 20: I'm shooting for middle of August depending on when I get my invites and how long it takes to address them. RSVP is Sept 21st since I need to give my numbers by Oct 2nd

Im a 10/20 Bride - also very organized an on top of things, with a bunch of factors, I already sent out ours last week - those that have got them already are excited!!

10/20 here, too. Sending them out on September 1st, w/ rsvp date of October 1st. We didn't do std's, but are pretty much only inviting family and they all know when it is. And if some rsvp a little closer to the date, we'll still be ok.

10/20 bride and I'm sending my OOT invites the week of August 19th and local invites the fist week of Sept. RVSP date is Oct 1. I did already mail my one international invite though since it took 2 months to get the STD. I'm also handing out some this coming up week to FI's family since we're all going to be at the lake....it'll save me a TON in postage. Its probably 20 invites or so.

10/20 bride here... I sent my OOT invites this morning and I will probably send my in town invites the first or second week in August. I dont really care what etique says. I want to give my guests time to plan and make plane reservations if they want.

This thread made me feel better, our date is October 14th with an RSVP of Sept 19th due to the catering date and we're hoping to get ours out this week, we need to address and stamp....oh and figure out an after the fact wedding website insert! HA! >___<

10/20 bride and I will get mine in the mail by 8/20 with an RSVP date of 9/29. I sent STD's to everyone (most guests are OOT).

10/19 here. I dont knwo exactly when were going to send them out but since most of our guests are out of state were going to send theirs as soon as the invites get in and I can get them addressed. No later than August 17th though. We have an RSVP by Oct 1st but I doubt most of our people will even bother to RSVP.
