ok...so i have contacted both The Schultzes and Nancy Ray (who is a family friend) to find out their availability and it is being quite difficult to pin one down that works with the venue...the church...other weddings for our friends...etc...

if you are familiar with either one of them, it is their style that i like - kinda more journalistic, i suppose. both offer the gorgeous albums and two photographers.

we are in raleigh and wondering if anyone else had any suggestions? our budget is $4,500-$5,500 (which is where both of them fall) - but this includes, full wedding day, engagements, bridals with a printed portrait, rights to all the photos, flush-mount albums...

My photographer falls into your budget and your list of "wants". We're getting RD coverage, full Wedding day coverage, we had an engagement session, DVDs with print rights to images, 4 flush-mounted books, and we're paying for her travel and lodging for less than your budget.

Her website is www.ericaletchworth.com. Erica's based in Snow Hill but is happy to travel, I'm not positive, but Raleigh may be within the radius she's willing to travel without a fee.

Definitely look at KELLI KANO..she is AMAZING!! Ashstwrt used her for her wedding. She does AMAZING WORK!! I would have used her for mine, but she was WAY over my price range. My photog is def in your price range too. He does amazing work also. His name is Michael Moss http://www.michaelmoss.com/. He included a few extras for me for free!!!

Check out Tina Loebach (www.loebachstudios.com). She's amazing and in your price range (maybe even a little lower). I'm getting pretty much what you're asking for and mine is around $3500. She also will have your makeup done for you on the day of your wedding by a pro makeup artist as her wedding gift to you.

Like jmp said, I loved my photographer - Kellie Kano. She's in Greensboro but travels anywhere. I follow The Schultz's and Nancy Ray's blogs regularly (Nancy goes to my church!), and I really like their style so I'm thinking we have similar taste. ashstwrt - isn't nancy the cutest?! so then you must know her husband will as well! the pastor of your church is also my parent's next door neighbor! small world

since my post, we had a change in something so we may be able to use the Schultzes or Nancy...but still not sure...
