Invites Sent & RSVP's returning!!

So I sent all but 4 invites out on Friday (didn't have the last 4 addresses).  SOO EXCITING!!!!!!!!!!  We have already had at least 12 invites come back!! :)

We have had a few declines, but we kind of expected most of them.  We are just getitng excited about the invites coming back!!!  FI calls me daily (because right now I'm living away from him) and he opens the RSVPs with me on the phone, and I put them on the knot's guest list manager!! :)

Ok, so talking to FI I said, "you're saving the RSVP cards right?", he says, "no", I said, "you're kidding me right?!"! He says, "no, did I need to save them?", I replied, "Yes, we were going to use them, and I wanted to make a spreadsheet on your computer to track RSVPs".  He said, "oh" in a sad voice.. 

Then he said he was kidding and said, "Almost gave you a heart attack didn't I?".  I love him, he's so sweet and he did the whole joke to get me to smile!!!

    I love getting RSVPs in the mail. I do just the opposite of you, first I add them to my excel spreadsheet, then I add them into TK and change my ticker. Today was the first day since we started getting them back that we didn't receive any, but the mailman said there are usually less midweek. Yes, even the mailman knows we are looking for those little envelopes:)

    So much fun!  We live together, so we wait and open them together every day.  Well, we did, until this past week when they stopped coming in!  Frown

    Fi has been cute; he's as excited as I am to check the mail. I didn't think he was going to care about it all that much, but every time I call him at lunch time (which is when I stop at home) he asks about the mail and gets either excited or sad when I report when we've gotten them or not. And he'll stay on the phone with me when I open them. It's fun!
