Suggestions for Alcoholic Drinks

I'm looking for something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. I'm not much of a drinker and would love to know your favorite drink, and input/suggestions and recipes :o)

Drinks in general that would fit into each of the categories. Not to incorporate into a wedding theme. So blue drinks, fruity drinks and anything general and popular would be great recommendations.

    Thanks for asking :o)

Blue Drinks: Blue Hawaiian, Tequini (tequila martini with blue curacao)
    New Drinks: Whatever you invent!
Old Drinks: Side Car, Tom Collins (refreshing!), Old Fashioned
    Borrowed Drinks: No idea.

Fruity Drinks: Amaretto Sour, Sex on the Beach, Flirtini (raspberry vodka, pineapple juice and champagne), mimosa (orange juice and champagne), Pina Coladas (uber yummy), mai tais, rum runners (very potent!), raspberry long islands (gin, vodka, triple sec, light rum, sour mix, splash of pepsi and chambord)

I love playing with alcohol and trying new things out. Mix and match. Find what works for you. I made up a drink one time at an event I was bartending and called it the "Sarah Slammer" (bad choice of title now that I think about it) and it was disaronno, triple sec, mountain dew, and a splash of grenadine. Very sweet, but caffinated and alcoholic. :-)

old - manhattan or martini - what about a grandparent's fave drink?
new - something cutesy named after you as a couple
borrowed - something from another country - perhaps a vodka drink for russia, whiskey for ireland, maybe honor your heritage that way?
blue - something including blue caracao (perhaps that with rum or something in honor of your honeymoon?)
if you're only offering 4 drinks i would do something
    1. vodka based
    2. gin based
    3. rum based
    4. amaretto/whiskey/vermouth/something else based

For Borrowed you could do any drink and change its name to something related to you. My friends wedding they had a Fuzzy Fricker which was just like a cocktail that they changed the name.
