Nicole's Catering vs PC Events??

Hey ladies! I am trying to decide on a caterer and these are my top 2! Has anyone used either one or booked them already? Nicole's has great reviews online and PC Events is offering us a discount for a Friday wedding but they call every other day to see if I have made a decision...kind of annoying lol.

Thanks!

I booked with PC Events, and this is what I can tell you.  Whenever I tell another vendor that I am working with PC Events they say something along the lines of: "Oh, that's great!  I love seeing them show up because I know that means everything is going to run smoothly."  Plus, their food was super yummy at the tasting.

Downside: I don't get a warm and fuzzy feeling when I talk to Kevin.  Stupid, I know, but I like to be able to joke around and be at ease with my vendors and he does not seem to have much of a sense of humor.

My friend looked into PC events (krazywizard13) and she did not like them at all! She said he was very unprofessional. She told them about using a local caterer and he trashed talk that other caterer. But personally I have never delt with them.

We talked with Nicole's Catering and I just think that she is a little over our budget, you have to pay for cake cutting fees, which I did not like! so it would have been around 1000 dollars over our budget, but she seems really nice!

I totally agree jnkreager!! He connected with my fiance' but as we know..the women are the ones handling EVERYTHING lol. That does make me feel better about them. He seemed to know exactly what he was talking about when we mentioned our venue!.

The preschool that I work at uses Nicole's Catering. I am assuming it is the same company as I know she also does weddings, etc. Is she based out of Westerville?

I have not really tasted the food that is delivered to school, but a lot of our kids eat it while some don't. However, I am sure what she does for weddings and events is totally different from the kid friendly lunches she caters to the schools.

We booked with Nicole's Catering!! We love them. Garrett (the head chef) is hilarious and their food is awesome. We got the Gala Package and that includes A LOT. We also are renting tables and chairs from them and our bill will be about $5000.00. If I have questions, I always e-mail Nicole and she is SO nice and doesn't make fun of my silly questions :) PC Events.... they are driving me nuts. I inquired with them a long time ago and they literally keep e-mailing me to see if I want to use their services. SO I highly recommend Nicole's... if you e-mail her she can send you their list of pricing, etc :) We did have a little mix up when we went in to pay our deposit, and Nicole wasn't there at the time. She called me like 5 min after we left and was apologizing up and down about the inconvenience. You also get a discount if you pay more on your initial deposit (which is what we did) :)

I don't know much about Nicole's Catering but my close friend is "Amber" on this review page. (<-link)  The only thing I don't agree on her with is that the food was good.  I thought it was so salty that the flavor was "drowned" out by the salt.  I went through 2 glasses of water during dinner & I didn't even eat all my food.

Plus, Kevin is so sketchy that he contacted her after she wrote the review & offered her a significant amount of money to take the review down.  So if all you're seeing are good reviews...well, there may be a reason.  She didn't take it because she wanted to be able to help at least ONE bride have a less stressful planning time than she had.
