I'm planning a symbolic ceremony and evening reception in Umbria, Italy. I have a tiny budget. Anyone have any experience getting hitched in Italy? Can you point me to a fabulous venue or give any pointers to help me out. I know a planner might be my best bet, but I don't know if that will be in my tiny budget.

    Hi D,

    I see that your post is over a month old, but I saw that no one answered so I figured I could. I'm planning a wedding in Sorrento, Italy and have been using a wedding planner from Exclusive Italy Weddings. The basic package was very affordable considering it included the photographer. I received proposals from three companies in Italy and Exclusive Italy Weddings was the most affordable.

    I think for a foreign destination wedding, using a wedding planner is the way to go.
