Looking for a reasonably priced beach wedding venue

Hey everyone! I'm writing from Colorado... but planning a wedding in California. We would like a beach wedding. Ideally we could find a hotel that does weddings on the beach and has ballrooms or whatever for receptions. A package including ceremony, reception, food and possibly drink would be wonderful. We're looking for something in Southern California... maybe Malibu, Santa Barbara, Newport or Laguna. But we need to find something priced reasonably. We are on a budget. We're not restricting our options to a hotel though, so any ideas are welcome. We are planning 75-100 guests and for next summer.

Please let me know if you have any ideas and thanks in advance! :)

I have a friend getting married at Simon's Waterfront Banquet Center in San Pedro. Hope it helps!

I know many people have posted like this with similar wants, including myself. FYI: Southern California is EXPENSIVE!!! It is really tough to do on a budget. Check out here comes the guide on the internet, they give you prices for some local venues.
Simon's waterfront banquet was the most affordable i found on the water, but san pedro is in a harbor area. google their water front pics so you know you are not getting a sand front beach.
I also looked at University of CA Irvine Club, which was the MOST affordable by far. but it is not on the beach, rather at a university,
In the end I am getting married in northern california, and not on the beach.

I know someone who used the Marriott in Marina del Rey.

Check out the Long Beach Art Museum - not a hotel, obviously, but they hae a gorgeous lawn right on the water and they aren't expensive as far as beachfront goes.
