What do you think of these?

what do you think of these as BM dresses? Not at all what I was originally looking for, but more sophisticated and super easy to make...

I think they are very simple, but chic.  They are also dresses that could be worn again after the wedding.  I like them.  What color?

Really cute - are you thinking the same blue color you wanted before? What fabric are you thinking?? I really like them - they are unique and fun... Definitely something they can wear again!

I'm still partial to the Jcrew style dress though :)

I like the J Crew the best as well. We bought a pattern that is very similar, but found it had the wrong pattern stuffed inside the package. So I'm going to a different JoAnns tonight to hopefully get the right pattern. My Mom just bought this one cause she really liked it- its just 2 peices sewn together (plus a liner), so would be super easy to make.

yeah, still thinking the same blue. not sure the fabric yet, I'll probably just peruse through the store to see what I like

I think this is sophisticated and interesting but not as flattering to all body types as some of your previous options.  I think it would look great on you and other similarly skinny girls, but I think it would be a challenging fit on me, for example- curvier/hourglass/big bewbies!

I think it is super cute! That said, I honestly think that it will look very bad on heavier girls, if you have any.

My large chest also doesn't look good in something like this; it always looks like a potato sack on me.

So I guess it just depends on the ladies' figures. I like the J Crew one still.

They're ok, but I like the other J Crew one better.

Although I do like the dresses, I agree with Kwynn and LaFemme.  If you have chestier girls, that will not be a flattering dress.  I'd never be able to wear that without it looking terrible on top.

thanks for your honest opins ladies! Yeah, I don't really have to worry about the bewbies too much... I dont have any heavier girls, but I def have some busty ladies. alright, its out. back to the j crew one! Hopefully JA in Ross has the right pattern!
