I just got an email from "TK" saying ....10 MONTHS TO GO.....

I dont know if I should be nervous or excited about that... officially 302 days to go..lol

I would normally say don't sweat it, but you got about 3 months worth of holidays to get ready for and wedding will go on the back burner. You gonna blink and it's going to be february/march.

Girl... I really need to get what I can done now.. because this is my next few months:

1. Terrell is having shoulder surgery Sept 19th.. will be off work for 4-6 months.. in a arm sling for 4-6 weeks (yes.. I will truly be his other arm)

2. I am having another knee surgery in November.. I will be on crutches for 2 months

3. Thanksgiving

4. Christmas

before you know it... we're in January...

Shoot, I'm just sitting here twiddling my thumbs waiting for something to happen. I got everything done right now that can be done. I'm just waiting for my ticker to move....sigh

Girl.. I thought I had things going good too.. I really feel like I have been trying to do things TOO EARLY.. Especially with the wedding in Vegas.. Most of the places you cant even book rooms or anything this early.. I have found my photog, and my mua and my cake designer... I just have to put the deposits down.. I am putting my deposit down on my dress this saturday.. I already have my shoes, my earrings, I just purchased yesterday my headband.. (thanks MsAmeera25)... the sale saved me a lot!!! woohooo.

I have picked out my BM dress.. now just have to get them to try it on and order it. I have made my STD's but have been procrastinating about sending them out.. I need to do that this week.

I think that's it so far... Sooo I am getting things together, now I feel like I am twittling my thumbs..lol

We have our e-pic shoot scheduled the first weekend in November so we will be working on outfits for that...I'm too excited!!! My photog emailed yesterday wanting inspiration....next, I think I will tackle my first DIY, which is wrapping my votive holders and some other stuff in rhinestone wrap. Also at the top of the year, we will be ordering BM's dresses so I need to get them to trying those on shortly. Other than that, just continuing to pay off my venue for now.

yeah.. I need to pay on stuff.. and once I finalize where the reception will be, then I will know what decorations I am going to try to DIY.

I am thinking I want an in suite reception. I dont want the traditional reception things.. I am looking at places to see where I can have it, and how much it will cost.. wherever..its gonna cost a lil penny..lol

Tash, this scared me. Lol. Holidays are coming up. After January, I only have about 4 and a half months. Ahhhhh.! But yea girl, I remember ten months. It flew by, and that's with no holidays. Its good you have alot done now, so as time gets closer you have less to stress about as the time gets here.

Yeah, the holidays scare me. I am not ready for them at all. For me, it will mean start my job search. I'm trying to get as much as I can do now so at 6 months (Jan), this job search thing wont be as stressful as it was last time.

I am not sure yet.. I think once I find the reception spot.. then I will know how I am goin to decorate. I still want to do the sports theme..now just trying to figure out how to put it together
